The Fall of Adam and Eve

Belief 5 - The Fall and Fix of Adam and Eve

Introduction

Adam, before he sinned, had an indefinitely lasting human body, and he had a judicial second life (he was born again angelically). This means that he had an associated angel in heaven with his name on it. He was ‘born again’:

7 And Jehovah God proceeded to form the man out of dust from the ground and to blow into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man came to be a living soul. (Genesis 2 NWT)

God blew into two nostrils which symbolise two vessels for the breath of life. The vessel of dust, the human body, and the vessel of spirit, the associated angel. Adam was born again when he reached 30 years old (we deduce this from his correspondence with the life of Jesus -
[41] The Fundamental Pattern of Adam's life and Jesus' life). It took 30 years for God to finish blowing into his nostrils!

Having placed Adam in the Garden, God gave him the one commandment that he needed to follow. This came together with the death sentence that would go with the breaking of that commandment:

17 but of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil you may not eat, for in the day that you eat of it, dying you shall die. (Genesis 2 GLT)

Upon breaking that commandment, God confirmed the sentence upon Adam:

19 By the sweat of your face you shall eat bread until your return to the ground. For you have been taken out of it; for you [are] dust, and to dust you shall return. (Genesis 3 GLT)

Eve, likewise, lost her angelic body having committed the same offence as Adam and with the same death sentence, albeit through Satan's deception:

14 Also, Adam was not deceived, but the woman was thoroughly deceived and came to be in transgression (1 Timothy 2).

This sentence would cause the loss of both of Adam’s and Eve’s souls; their human and associated angelic souls.

The Cunning of Satan and the Fall of Adam and Eve

Scripture tells us that the angels had the ability to come down to earth in human form:

2 The sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were good, and they took wives for themselves from all those whom they chose. (Genesis 6 GLT)

So, it is not much of a stretch to conclude that Satan came down in human form to seduce Eve using the tactics of a snake. After all, if he had been a real physical snake, he would have had to have been a talking snake!

1 And the serpent was cunning above every animal of the field which Jehovah God had made. And he said to the woman, [Is it] true that God has said, You shall not eat from any tree of the garden?
2 And the woman said to the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden,
3 but of the fruit of the tree in the middle of the garden, God has said, You shall not eat of it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.
4 And the serpent said to the woman, Dying you shall not die,
5 for God knows that in the day you eat of it, even your eyes shall be opened, and you shall be as God, knowing good and evil.
6 And the woman saw that the tree [was] good for food, and that it [was] pleasant to the eyes, and the tree [was] desirable to make [one] wise. And she took of its fruit and ate; and she also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.
7 And the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they [were] naked. And they sewed leaves of the fig tree, and made girdles for themselves. (Genesis 3 GLT)

Jesus later confirmed the murderous and lying nature of Satan in His response to the Pharisees questioning of Him:

44 You are of the Devil as father, and the lusts of your father you desire to do. That one was a murderer from [the] beginning, and he has not stood in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks [a] lie, he speaks from [his] own, because he is a liar, and the father of it. (John 8 GLT)

In describing these traits ‘from the beginning’ this further confirms that Satan was indeed the serpent. Now whilst Jesus does not accuse Satan of adultery in the above verse there are a couple of other scriptures that need to be considered in this context:

1 And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD. (Genesis 4 KJV)

1 And the man knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man with [the help of] Jehovah. (Genesis 4 ASV)

(Genesis 4 WLC)

Now let me be a little iconoclastic for a moment. As we can see from the above examples, the translations of this verse for the Hebrew word ‘וְהָ֣אָדָ֔ם‘ are divided between ‘Adam’ and ‘the man’ as they are for many of the verses referring to Adam. But what if, in this case, it actually referred to Satan in the form of a man, named as the serpent?

Also why would Eve say that Cain was produced ‘with’ Jehovah and not Adam? This can be explained in that Satan was the mediator of the first holy spirit covenant (Ref.
[41] The Fundamental Pattern of Adam's life and Jesus' life)  He was therefore the head of God's first wife and thereby Jehovah God's own flesh. This gives a strong indication that he committed adultery (against God) with Eve to produce Cain.

If the reader is left in any doubt about this meaning the apostle John, in his first epistle, spells it out pretty clearly:

12 Not as Cain, [who] was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous. (1 John 3 KJV)

Now male-female marriage is an institution for the dead. So Adam and Eve were not married in the garden, and actually they could not have reproduced sexually in the garden. They could only have created a child on God's behalf, since both were living. So Satan did not sin against Adam in adultery, but he did sin against the first holy spirit covenant which he mediated. So he was unfaithful as God's wife. That was his adultery. This actually destroyed the first holy spirit covenant and God lost his first and unfaithful wife as so many humans experience today.

Adam, once he was born again with his associated angel, became a direct son of God, a first-generation son of God, just like Satan. This genealogical descent put Adam equal to Satan. This must have been the cause of Satan's jealousy. Furthermore, the angels could not themselves procreate directly without the help of the holy spirit, whereas Adam could and so again in this way he was in God's image not the image of the angels. So, in procreative terms, Adam was ahead of Satan whilst he was in the Garden. One can, therefore, regard Satan's murder of our parents as an act of genocide intended to remove this advantage that the firstborn human, Adam, had over the firstborn angel, Satan.

God's Justice and Michael's Ransoms are Soul for Soul

The scriptures describe Jesus's (or anybody else's) ransom and God's justice as follows:

5 For [there is] one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. (1 Timothy 2 KJV)

22 For just as in Adam all are dying, so also in the Christ all will be made alive (1 Corinthians 15 NWT).

The ransom was ‘soul for soul’ as stipulated in the Law of Moses in the case of a death:

23 But if any harm follow, then thou shalt give life for life, (Exodus 21 ASV)

17 And he that killeth any man shall surely be put to death. (Leviticus 24 KJV)

Now our God cannot lie, and neither should his sons. He takes his sons at their word. So once Jesus had given his word to be the ransom for Adam, then God treated Him as if He had already ransomed Adam. This meant that the Fatherhood rights that Adam had before he sinned now belonged to Jesus, who was bound by His agreement to pay for them with His everlasting angelic soul and His human soul.

Jesus agreed to ransom Adam angelically through the ARC, the Angelic Ransom Covenant, the Alpha Covenant - see
[28] The 24 Salvation Covenants. But this was not with immediate effect, for the ARC gives everlasting angelic life and Adam could not be immediately given that without proving himself under test. Jesus also agreed to ransom Adam humanly though the LRC, the Love Ransom Covenant, the OMC, the Omega Covenant - see [218] The 144,000 Benjamite 2NC OMC Kings of Love

Adamic Man

Both Adam and Eve died on the day of their eating the forbidden fruit. However, they were to be passed over and then resurrected due to the offer of an angelic and a human ransom by Jesus. Also their sons, their descendants, the genetic house of Adam, would continue to die thereafter and are still dying today from ageing, which brings Adamic death:

7 Our fathers have sinned, and [are] not; we have borne their iniquities. (Lamentations 5 GLT)

Now Adam can only pass on to his children the life that he himself has. This life is genetically subject to a death sentence. So we all have the same life that he had, life subject to Adam's death sentence. So we are all under the very same death sentence. Paul explains:

12 Because of this, even as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, so also death passed to all men, inasmuch as all sinned.
13 For sin was in [the] world until Law, but sin is not charged [where] there is no law; (Romans 5 GLT)

This scripture is saying that death spread to all men through one man, Adam. This death is not due to the personal sins of each man, because we are told that sin is not charged where there is no law, and most men are not, or have not been, under any law (from God). So, the sin that we all carry is the unpaid sin of Adam. It is this which is the cause of our death. The death is physically as a result of our ageing bodies which fall apart today after a maximum of 120 years (a limit that came into force during the life of Moses who lived 120 years to the day - see
[15]  120, 240, 480, 960 and indefinite lifespan humans!).

Please realise that we age and die due to the sin of Adam, not due to our own sin. Charles Manson, Jack the Ripper, Osama Bin Laden, Adolf Hitler, Ariel Sharon, Pol Pot, Robert Mugabe, and all of the other lying and murdering sons of Adam have not broken God's law, because they were none of them under God's law. It is even possible, if they truly have obeyed their consciences, that they may be resurrected into the Kingdom of God - this is a matter for God, not for man. For only the true people of God are under God's law, and these one's do not suffer the penalty of physical death today for breaking it. On the contrary, they suffer expulsion from God's true people. So, there is no man who by his own works, be they exemplary or not quite so exemplary, can either condemn himself or save himself. We have all died due to Adam, independent of our works. But at the end of this system, it will be quite different. If one obeys one's conscience, if one loves God or if one loves the true people of God (without joining them), or if one joins the true people of God, then one may be saved by this integrity or by this love or by this faith respectively. Yes, those ones will not die at all:

14 For when nations not having Law do by nature the things of the Law, they not having Law are a law to themselves,
15 who show the work of the Law written in their hearts, their conscience witnessing with [them], and the thoughts between one another accusing or even excusing,
16 in a day when God judges the hidden things of men, according to my gospel, through Jesus Christ. (Romans 2 GLT)
